About Teddy Buddies
Welcome to Teddy Buddies, a place where learning meets joy.
Established in 1987, TEDDY BUDDIES, formerly known as Little Kingdom, was created out of a passion to provide children with a stimulating and enriching early childhood experience in Jeddah. We moved to India in 2011 and started our first preschool in Trivandrum, Kowdiar. To meet the growing demand for preschools in and around Technopark, we launched our second center near Technopark in 2015.
Teddy Buddies is your child’s home away from home in Trivandrum. We stay true to our mission and commitment to every child entrusted to our care by offering high-quality education that integrates art, music, and hands-on learning. We celebrate each child’s uniqueness and use creative teaching methods to help them reach their full potential.

Advisory Council Members
Mac Srinivasan
Mac is a global growth strategist, leadership coach, and franchise expert with deep experience in scaling purpose-led organisations across geographies. Known for empowering leaders and building strong communities, Mac brings a rare blend of strategic clarity and human-centred coaching to Teddy Buddies. With a keen interest in education, he works closely with founders and partners to build confident edupreneurs, strengthen leadership capability, and enable sustainable, values-driven growth.
As a mentor and Advisory Council member, Mac will guide Teddy Buddies’ franchise journey — ensuring that expansion is intentional, leaders are empowered, and every centre thrives as both an educational institution and a successful enterprise.
Dr. Vijayalekshmy
Dr. Vijayalekshmy is a visionary educationist, social scientist, and globally respected leader in women’s empowerment and community development. As Founder Director of Sandepani School and Founder Chairperson of WHI — an organisation with special consultative status at the United Nations — she has consistently bridged education, research, and social transformation. A woman entrepreneur herself, Dr. Vijayalekshmy brings powerful insight into building institutions that nurture both children and women leaders.
At Teddy Buddies, where women form the backbone of the ecosystem, she will serve as a catalyst in shaping a new generation of women edupreneurs — guiding educational philosophy while advancing empowerment, leadership, and purposeful entrepreneurship.
